Farm Equipment Operator

We are a 3000 acre farming operation. We grow corn, rice, soybeans utilizing row irrigation with pollypipe and flood irrigation. We use a mixture of later model equipment and earlier model equipment. Job duties include:

• Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops;
• Set up, operate, and repair irrigation equipment;
• Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment;
• Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities;
• Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping;
• Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures;
• Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery;
• Attach implements using hand tools.

Must speak and understand English. In view of the statutorily established basic function of the ES as a no-fee labor exchange, that is, as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the ETA nor the SWAs are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers.
