Hora Law Firm is a boutique Worker's Compensation Defense Law Firm based in Long Beach California. We offer legal defense for a variety of insurance companies for businesses in Southern California. Our goal is to provide clients with individualized, direct, 1:1 attention and tailor our litigation to meet each organizations unique goals. This is a full-time remote position for a Workers Compensation Defense Attorney. In this role, you will manage a caseload of workers' compensation defense cases, represent insurance clients in legal proceedings, provide legal advice, and handle cases through to settlement. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, calculating disability and case value ratings, handling QME process, and negotiating case resolutions. The role also involves ensuring compliance with Worker's Compensation laws while advocating for clients' interests. The role is work-from-home and the candidate should be able to work and complete tasks independently on-time.
